It may seem cliché, but there is no pair quite like a good book and a long trip. Travel and reading just seem made for one another. Maybe it’s because we are often stuck in one place for so long. Those trans-Atlantic flights, the long bus rides, the days spent aboard a cruise ship or a train. All of these things provide us ample time to cozy up and immerse our minds in adventure. While our bodies are stuck, our minds are set free to explore lost worlds, solve mysteries, dive into the lives of inquisitive characters, be inspired by new places, and even fall in love.
If you are heading out on your next great adventure I suggest picking at least one inspiring book to bring along. To help you out, we’ve compiled a list of Travel Worthy Books below. Take a look, and whether you read it at home in your armchair, or on your next long flight, I hope it will infuse you with the desire to experience more of this world and the wonderful places within it.
