The Juniors’ Club Med® enables teenagers to meet among themselves and participate in activities of their choice while taking part in the life of the Resort.

Visit (with commentary) of the marshlands of Mortagne sur Gironde to discover the estuary’s migratory birds, followed by a visit to the Beaulon domain with its 15th century castle, exceptional gardens and remarkable blue fountains. Taste the local Pineau des Charentes wine.

Discover this famous European zoo, with over 1,600 animals, renowned for its respect of the animals’ quality of life. It also aims to teach the visitor about conservation of the world’s threatened species. Tickets and bookings at the Discovery center.

Departure from Club Med to visit one of the most beautiful villages of France, Talmont sur Gironde. Your guide will explain its history, fame and legends, through its paved streets and picturesque sites. You’ll then be taken underground to visit the troglodyte caves at Meschers sur Gironde.

Excursion recommended by our Discovery excursions office. The king of lighthouses, the lighthouse of kings or the Versailles of the seas… There are any number of perfectly appropriate qualifiers to describe the oldest of all French lighthouses that has watched over the Gironde estuary since 1611. The crossing sets out from Royan and you get your feet wet when landing.

A 2 and a half hour boat ride in the heart of Europe’s biggest estuary. You’ll see the Cordua lighthouse, the Meschers cliffs with their troglodyte caves, and the Talmont peninsula. Tickets and booking at the Discovery Center.
