Wendy Fougner has been in the travel industry since she was 16 years old, when her father purchased Lloyds Travel and Cruises Ltd. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Asian Studies and a diploma in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan.

Throughout her life, Wendy has travelled to well over a hundred countries by many different means – cruising across the seas by ship, biking and hiking challenging terrain, canoeing and rafting along wild rivers, skiing down snowy slopes, and driving through distant lands to name a few! Wendy assumed ownership of Lloyds Travel in 1986 and is now the Owner and Managing Director of the agency. She has four children and three grandchildren with whom she likes to travel to many different exotic destinations. Recent trips include a safari through Africa, a tour of Borneo, and a bike adventure through Sri Lanka.
