Itinerary

Day 1 Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen is known as a city of spires: The skyline of its medieval core is punctuated by the steeples of churches and towers of palaces, though a modern building boom has overtaken other parts of the city.

Day 2Skagen, Denmark

Skagen is one of Denmark’s main fishing ports, a cute little get-away destination with lovely beaches that drew the attention of artists in the late 19th century due to its wild landscape and quality of light.

Day 3Stavanger, Norway

Stavanger is a fascinating blend of old and new: from the Middle Ages when Vikings ruled the seas to today’s North Sea drilling platforms that have made Norway one of the world’s leading oil producers.

Day 4 - 5Olden, Norway

The village of Olden sits peacefully at the edge of the colossal Jostedal Glacier, Europe’s largest ice floe, covering 188 square miles…and that’s just one of the incredible glaciers you can explore here.

Day 6Alesund, Norway

Just a stone’s throw away from the spectacle of Geirangerfjord, Alesund is renowned for its architecture, where turrets, spires and other whimsical Art Nouveau touches give the town its distinctive character.

Day 7At Sea

Spend the day sailing in style aboard your boutique hotel at sea. Big adventure, small voyage. Discover the mythic lands of the Vikings on a journey through Arctic fjords and untouched natural splendor.

Far north of the Arctic Circle, Tromsø is surrounded by a dramatic landscape of snow-capped peaks, scattered islands and majestic fjords, a scene best observed by taking the cable car up Storsteinen Mountain.

Day 10Honningsvag, Norway - North Cape (Cruising), Norway

Honningsvag, population 4,000, is the last village before the North Cape, which rises over 1,000 feet above the sea and provides a lookout over a limitless panorama stretching silently to the North Pole.

At the northernmost point of Norway, where the Atlantic meets the Arctic Ocean, lies the North Cape. It’s a stunningly beautiful place featuring panoramic vistas of the Barents Sea, rugged landscapes, and the midnight sun.
