Namibia Africa
Day 1 – Windhoek

  • Arrive in Windhoek and settle into your accommodation

Day 2 – Windhoek/Sesriem

  • Marvel at the desert landscapes of Sesriem
  • Look out for red sand dunes & camel thorn trees
  • Wildlife in the area could include Oryx, Springbok, Jackal & Hyenas

Day 3 – Sesriem

  • Take an excursion to the Namib-Naukluft National Park
  • Visit the clay pans of Sossusvlei & Deadvlei
  • Take picture perfect photos at Sesriem Canyon

Day 4 – Sesriem/ Swakopmund

  • Watch out for wild Zebras, Kudu, Springbok & Oryx
  • Visit the town of Solitaire and learn about Bushmen survival strategies
  • Understand the difficult conditions of the desert and the animals that live here
  • Continue the drive to Swakopmund

Day 5 – Swakopmund

  • Relish in the opportunity to go quad biking, sandboarding or exploring in Swakopmund
  • Visit the town and local markets of Mondesa
  • Try traditional foods such as wild spinach, mopane worms or dried kapenta fish

Day 6 – Swakopmund/Twyfelfontein

  • See the ancient petroglyphs of Twfelfontein (Namibia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site)
  • Imagine what Namibia was like in the Stone Age as you see more than 2,500 carvings

Day 7 – Twyfelfontein/ Etosha National Park

  • See the fossilized tree trunks at the Petrified Forest
  • Enter Etosha National Park and take part in a game drive
  • See the wonders of the greatest wildlife sanctuary in Namibia

Day 8 – Etosha National Park

  • Rise bright and early for a sunrise wildlife safari drive
  • Watch out for elephants, lions, endangered black rhinos, and leopards

Day 9 – Etosha National Park/ Windhoek

  • Learn about research, conservation and community outreack work at the Cheetah Conservation Fund
  • Enjoy a cheetah drive to spot these creatures in the wild
  • Journey back to Windhoek

Day 10 – Windhoek

  • Depart at any time, with memories of your amazing trip
